HEBDOMAS Vintage Mens Wrist Watch Swiss Men's Pocket Watch Spiral Breguet

This a 100% ALL ORIGINAL scarce and completely watch example of a men’s timepiece that dates to approx 1910’s to add to your collection.

This timepiece features an Original and elegant gently white porcelain dial is in good condition. This dial features outer track border, gold enameled Arabic numerals with individual green cartouches for each number, red Arabic 24-hour sub-numerals and gold steel Louis XVI filigree hands. Also it’s decorated with SILVER inlay by FLOWERS is in flawless condition.

The PORCELAIN dial has an engraved bridge with VISIBLE BALANCE and a REGULATOR with RED RUBY. The dial is decorated with SILVER ENAMEL FLOWERS.

The beautiful dial is marked HEBDOMAS – 8 JOURS.

It’s all completely original and so a pretty fair example of this type of watch, which are quite hard to find nowadays.

This model features an ORIGINAL three piece, back-hinged chrome steel case. The case was made especially for HEBDOMAS. Turning the watch over I note that the back lid with QUALITY ENGRAVING is nice and clean. This watch was converted from pocket watch. The lugs are in great condition while the winding crown is in very good shape and operates properly.

This beautiful wristwatch has the Original movement in an excellent status which was very well saved, considering age of this watch. The watch is not signed Hebdomas but is a genuine Hebdomas type patent 8 day pocket watch, with the same set up as a Hebdomas with a massive 8 day mainspring.

The movement is completely covered by its gilt mainspring cover signed SPIRAL BREGUET LEVEES VISIBLES – 8 JOURS – ANCRE –QUALITE SUPERIEURE GARANTIE – BRUXELLES 1910 – SWISS MADE. The cover is also decorated with four medals and signed PARIS 1900 – GENEVE 1896 – CHICAGO 1902 –– MILAN 1916.

It runs for 8 days but takes 8 times as long as a normal watch to wind up, so there is no saving in labour there.

The watch supplied with special genuine leather wrist strap.

It comes complete with a new 20mm brown high quality strap genuine leather with matching blackening steel buckle for a most excellent look.

This cleaned, oiled and regulated antique watch winds and sets very smoothly while keeping very good, accurate time.
