The timepiece was made in style and look like to watch from another famous American Factory – Dudley Watch Co. Hamilton Watch Co and DUDLEY placed in LANCASTER – PENNSYLVANIA. From 1906 to 1920, DUDLEY was designer and superintendent of manufacturing at the HAMILTON WATCH Co in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. At age 69, William Wallace Dudley leaves the Hamilton Watch Co. to start his own venture, the Dudley Watch Co. 

This timepiece features a new handsome WHITE enameled dial in excellent condition, professionally restored to its original status and perfectly done, absolutely no chips of abuse. This gorgeous, men’s wristwatch features a 60 minute checkered outer track border with WHITE & BLACK STONES, steel raised main Arabic numerals, gold steel skeleton hands and a recessed sub-seconds dial with 60 second outer chapter and “sweep” original blue steel seconds hand. Signed DUDLEY in gold enameled lettering below the 12. The dial is decorated with GOLD MASONIC SYMBOLs. 

It is a registered design model that features a three piece GOLD PLATED – 23K case that provides with glass cover of back lid. This watch was converted from pocket watch. GOLD PLATED – 23K case, new custom made, fantastic, builds of THE WANDOLEC ART STUDIO specially for this excellent HAMILTON movement. The lugs are in great condition while the engraved winding crown is in very good shape and operates properly. The case has MINERAL glasses on the front & back side. The case is decorated HIGH QUALITY ENGRAVING.

Peeking inside via the glass lid I find a clean, high-grade manual wind gold-plated lever escapement mechanism with QUALITY MASONIC ENGRAVED. The movement has BLUE STEEL SCREWS, SIX SCREWED in GOLD JEWEL SETTINGS, SWAN NECK MICROMETER REGULATOR & BLUE BREGUET BALANCE SPRING.

There is signed LANCASTER,PA – 21 JEWELS – ADJUSTED. Also is signed the movement serial number #495.649. This serial number dates this watch to 1906 as per published production numbers. Also is signed the caliber number #940. 

The movement was engraved & skeletonized in style and looks like to watch from another famous American Factory from Lancaster, Pennsylvania – Dudley Watch Co. 

This beautiful wristwatch has the ORIGINAL HAMILTON movement in an excellent status which was very well saved, considering age of this watch and has been in addition updated and engraved by the craftsman. Each part of the mechanism, each millimeter it is decorated by a magnificent magic ornament. The bridges have in addition to extensive skeletonization have been gorgeously engraved as well. Mechanism has been recently serviced to ensure it winds and sets smoothly while keeping great, accurate time. 

This is a “NAIL SET” watch so you don’t pull the crown out to set the time. Instead, you press the little button near the crown IN and then move the crown to set the hands, releasing the button once you’re finished. It’s easy, so don’t worry about getting the hang of it!  

It is fitted on a new Handmade of THE WANDOLEC ART STUDIO 24mm brown alligator style genuine leather strap with gold steel buckle that has a great vintage look to it.
