Vintage Men's Wrist Watch Cortebert: Original Swiss 1930 Movement, Minimalist Style

For the collector or the admirer this scarce CUSTOMIZED WATCH men’s example with WHITE enameled brass DIAL, STAINLESS STEEL CASE and original pocket watch MECHANISM with BI-METALLIC MICROMETER REGULATOR & BLUE BREGUET BALANCE SPRING made in Cortebert Switzerland. 

This gorgeous, men’s watch has new WHITE enameled brass dial is a very handsome specimen and features a 60-minute outer track border, black main Arabic numbering with the red 12, steel skeleton hands with luminous fill and a recessed sub-seconds dial with “sweep” steel seconds hand and 60 second outer chapter. The new dial has been professionally updated, and now is in excellent condition. There is signed CORTEBERT below the red 12. 

It is a registered design model that features a three piece STAINLESS STEEL case that provides with glass cover of back lid. This watch was converted from pocket watch. STAINLESS STEEL case, new custom made, fantastic, matches specially for this excellent Cortebert movement. The lugs are in great condition while the winding crown is in very good shape and operates properly. The case has MINERAL glasses on the front & back side. 

Peeking inside via glass lid I find a spotless, a finely and high quality, gold plated movement with BI-METALLIC MICROMETER REGULATOR & BLUE BREGUET BALANCE SPRING. The movement that is not signed with any markings but is most definitely CORTEBERT Swiss in origin. Also is signed the caliber number CALIBRE #474 DEPOSE.

This beautiful wristwatch has the Original movement in an excellent status which was very well saved, considering age of this watch. Mechanism has been recently serviced to ensure it winds and sets smoothly while keeping great, accurate time, but some of the wearable parts on the movement might be replaced, and custom made to fit, since it is close to impossible to find original parts. 

It is fitted on a new 20mm black alligator style genuine leather strap with chrome steel buckle that is vintage style and goes great with this wonderful watch.

This cleaned, oiled and regulated antique watch winds and sets very smoothly while keeping very good, accurate time.

Because of the vintage nature of the watch I cannot guarantee its absolute time keeping accuracy even if they are in good running condition and in some rare occasions may require additional adjustment.
