Vintage Mens Wristwatch with Swiss Zenith 1913 Movement & Stainless Steel Case

For the collector or the admirer this CUSTOMIZED WATCH with CLASSIC white DIAL, STAINLESS STEEL CASE and HIGH GRADE original pocket watch mechanism with STRAIGHT LINE DAMASKEENING BI-METALLIC MICROMETER REGULATOR & BLUE BREGUET BALANCE SPRING. Indeed, this watch was made by WANDOLEC ART STUDIO based on the venerable “ZENITH”, Switzerland.

This timepiece features a CLASSIC white enameled brass dial is in good condition. This dial features a 60 minute outer track border, black main Arabic numbering with the red 12, blue steel Breguet-style hands and a recessed sub-seconds dial with 60 second outer chapter and “sweep” blue steel seconds hand. The dial has been professionally updated, and now is in excellent condition. Signed ZENITH in black enameled lettering below the red 12.

It is a registered design model that features a three piece STAINLESS STEEL case that provides with glass cover of back lid. This watch was converted from pocket watch. The STAINLESS STEEL case, new custom made, fantastic, matches specially for this excellent ZENITH movement. The case has MINERAL glasses on the front & back side. The lugs are in great condition while the Onion-style winding crown is in very good shape and operates properly.

Peeking inside via the glass lid I find a clean manual wind and high grade, nickel finished lever escapement movement with STRAIGHT LINE DAMASKEENING BI-METALLIC MICROMETER REGULATOR & BLUE BREGUET BALANCE SPRING. The movement is signed ZENITH with the movement serial number #1.449.511. This serial number dates this watch to 1913 as per published production numbers.

This beautiful wristwatch has the ORIGINAL movement in an excellent status which was very well saved, considering age of this watch, but may contain replacement parts that are not from the original manufacturer if the original manufacturer no longer makes that part. Mechanism has been recently serviced to ensure it winds and sets smoothly while keeping great, accurate time.

It is fitted on a new 20mm black alligator style genuine leather strap with chrome steel buckle that is vintage style and goes great with this wonderful watch.
