Vintage Mens Wrist Watch Stainless Steel Mens Watch with Swiss Movement 1920 Original Dial

Exceptional watchmaking and timeless elegance for this CUSTOMIZED WATCH that features with ORIGINAL golden DIAL, STAINLESS STEEL CASE and original pocket watch MECHANISM with BLUE STEEL SCREWS, RAISED & SCREWED THREEFOLD in GOLD CENTER JEWEL CHATON, BI-METALLIC MICROMETER REGULATOR & BLUE BREGUET BALANCE SPRING. Indeed, it was made by WANDOLEC ART STUDIO based on SWISS movement. 

This timepiece features an ORIGINAL handsome sunken GOLDEN brass dial is in excellent condition, considering age of this watch. It features a 60 minute checkered outer track border, black enameled Arabic numerals, original blue steel Spade-style hands and sunken sub-second dial with “sweep” original blue steel seconds hand and 60 second outer chapter. 

It is a registered design model that features a three piece STAINLESS STEEL CASE that provides with glass cover of back lid. This watch was converted from pocket watch. The case, new custom made, fantastic, matched specially for this excellent Swiss movement. The lugs are in great condition while the Pumpkin-style winding crown is in very good shape and operates properly. The case has MINERAL glasses on the front and back side. 

Peeking inside via the glass lid I find the manual wind gold plated mechanism has BLUE STEEL SCREWS, RAISED & SCREWED THREEFOLD in GOLD CENTER JEWEL CHATON, BI-METALLIC MICROMETER REGULATOR & BLUE BREGUET BALANCE SPRING. The movement that is not signed with any markings but is most definitely Swiss in origin. The movement serial number #154 is signed under the dial.

To enhance the power coming through the train, the center wheel is provided with a chaton jewel, which is mounted in gold and is screwed threefold. Only jeweled holes minimize reliably the friction due to enormous driving power of the mainspring and consequently the going barrel. The screwed chaton allows the precise adjustment of the wheel and the quick change of the bearing jewel if necessary. The further wheel arbors are protected by jewels.

This beautiful wristwatch has the pristine ORIGILAL movement is in an excellent status which was very well saved, considering age of this watch. Mechanism has been recently serviced to ensure it winds and sets smoothly while keeping great, accurate time.

Please, note, some of the wearable parts on the movement might be replaced, and custom made to fit, since it is close to impossible to find original parts. 

It is fitted on a new 20mm brown genuine leather strap with chromed steel buckle that has a great look to it.

This cleaned, oiled and regulated antique watch winds and sets very smoothly while keeping very good, accurate time.

Because of the vintage nature of the watch I cannot guarantee its absolute time keeping accuracy even if they are in good running condition and in some rare occasions may require additional adjustment.
