Vintage Men's Wristwatch American Men Jeweled Engraved Mens Wrist Watch New York Standard 1902 Movement

This week at sale this beautiful amazing large engraved & jeweled dress a CUSTOMIZED WATCH that decorated with the HIGHEST QUALITY FLORAL ENGRAVING with LILAC STONES. 

This gorgeous, men’s watch is a very handsome specimen and has new CHROMED brass dial. The dial features a 60-minue outer track border, steel Arabic numerals with individual black cartouches for each number, original blue steel Gothic-style hands and recessed sub-seconds “sweep” original blue steel hand. There is signed NY STANDARD near the 3 and is decorated with HIGH QUALITY FLORAL INLAY. 

It is a registered design model that features a three piece CHROMED brass CASE that provides with glass cover of back lid. This watch was converted from pocket watch. The case, new custom made, fantastic, build of THE WANDOLEC ART STUDIO specially for this excellent NY Standard movement. The lugs are in great condition while the winding crown is in very good shape and operates properly. The case has MINERAL glasses on the front and back side. The case is decorated HIGH QUALITY FLORAL ENGRAVING. 

This beautiful wristwatch has the Original magic movement in an excellent status which was very well saved, considering age of this watch and has been in addition updated and engraved by the craftsman. Each part of the mechanism, each millimeter it is decorated by a magnificent magic ornament with VIOLET CRYSTALS. 

On the front side of the movement you can see the HIGHEST QUALITY FLORAL ENGRAVING with LILAC ZIRCONS. 

On back side you can see ORIGINAL movement with GENEVA PATTERN, MASSIVE BARREL PLATE (3/4), THREE RAISED in GOLD SETTINGS, JEWEL CHATON of REGULATION RAISED in GOLD, BI-METALLIC MICROMETER REGULATOR & BLUE BREGUET BALANCE SPRING.

3/4 Plate: the balance cock and the top plate were adjacent and flush, requiring a cutout in the top plate of the movement. Many times, the 3/4 plate is split into two parts.

Identification: The top plate has about 1/4 cut around the balance, which is flush with the top plate.

The barrel plate is signed NEW YORK STANDARD WATCH Co with the movement serial number #2.163.365, dating the watch to 1902 as per company production records. The movement has #44 Caliber, 7 Jewels and 6S size. 

Mechanism has been recently serviced to ensure it winds and sets smoothly while keeping great, accurate time, but some of the wearable parts on the movement might be replaced, and custom made to fit, since it is close to impossible to find original parts.

THE BOTTOM PLATE (the dial side) of the movement has been in addition updated and engraved by the craftsman. Each part of the mechanism, each millimeter it is decorated by a magnificent magic ornament with LILAC STONES. 

This is a “NAIL SET” watch so you don’t pull the crown out to set the time. Instead, you press the little button near the crown IN and then move the crown to set the hands, releasing the button once you’re finished. It’s easy, so don’t worry about getting the hang of it! 

It is fitted on a new Handmade of THE WANDOLEC ART STUDIO 20mm black alligator style genuine leather strap with chromed steel buckle that has a great vintage look to it.

This cleaned, oiled and regulated antique watch winds and sets very smoothly while keeping very good, accurate time.

Because of the vintage nature of the watch I cannot guarantee its absolute time keeping accuracy even if they are in good running condition and in some rare occasions may require additional adjustment.
