Vintage Men's Wrist Watch Skeleton & Stones Mens Wristwatch Louis Ulysse Chopard LUC Movement 1890's

I am very pleased to offer for sale this beautiful amazing large skeletonized dress a CUSTOMIZED WATCH that decorated with the HIGHEST QUALITY FLORAL ENGRAVING with RED STONES. It was made by the WANDOLEC ART STUDIO based on “L.U.C. – CHOPARD” movement that dates to ca 1890’s. 

This gorgeous, men’s watch is a very handsome specimen and features GOLDEN brass dial with RED ZIRCON for hour markers, black steel Breguet-style hands and a recessed sub-seconds “sweep” steel hand. The new dial has been professionally updated, and now is in excellent condition. There is decorated with high quality applied gold steel FLORAL INLAY around. 

It is a registered design model that features a three piece GOLDEN brass CASE that provides with glass cover of back covering. This watch was converted from pocket watch. The case, new custom made, fantastic, build specially for this excellent CHOPARD movement. The lugs are in great condition while the winding crown is in very good shape and operates properly. The case has MINERAL glasses on the front and back side. The case is decorated with HIGH QUALITY FLORAL ENGRAVING. 

This beautiful wristwatch has the Original magic BI-COLOUR movement in an excellent status which was very well saved, considering age of this watch and has been in addition updated and engraved by the craftsman. Each part of the mechanism, each millimeter it is decorated by a magnificent magic ornament. The bridges have in addition to extensive skeletonization have been gorgeously engraved as well. 

On the front side of the movement you can see the HIGHEST QUALITY FLORAL ENGRAVING. Also is signed the movement serial number #20.648. 

On back side of the movement you can see HIGHEST QUALITY ENGRAVING movement with BLUE STEEL SCREWS, THREE FINGER BRIDGE, RAISED & SCREWED THREEFOLD in GOLD CENTER JEWEL CHATON, BI-METALLIC MICROMETER REGULATOR & BLUE BREGUET BALANCE SPRING. The movement that is not signed with any markings but is most definitely L.U.C. – Chopard Swiss in origin.

To enhance the power coming through the train, the center wheel is provided with a chaton jewel, which is mounted in gold and is screwed threefold. Only jeweled holes minimize reliably the friction due to enormous driving power of the mainspring and consequently the going barrel. The screwed chaton allows the precise adjustment of the wheel and the quick change of the bearing jewel if necessary. The further wheel arbors are protected by jewels.

Mechanism has been recently serviced to ensure it winds and sets smoothly while keeping great, accurate time.

But, vintage watches may contain replacement parts that are not from the original manufacturer if the original manufacturer no longer makes that part.

You can see from any direction the internal mechanics working as the balance wheel spins. They make an elegant statement on the wrist. Watch aficionados and laymen alike when they see a high quality skeletonized watch recognize its beauty. 

This is a “NAIL SET” watch so you don’t pull the crown out to set the time. Instead, you press the little button near the crown IN and then move the crown to set the hands, releasing the button once you’re finished. It’s easy, so don’t worry about getting the hang of it! 

It is fitted on a new 24mm brown alligator style genuine leather strap with golden steel buckle that is vintage style and goes great with this wonderful watch.

This cleaned, oiled and regulated vintage watch winds and sets very smoothly while keeping very good, accurate time.

Because of the vintage nature of the watch I cannot guarantee its absolute time keeping accuracy even if they are in good running condition and in some rare occasions may require additional adjustment.
