Vintage Mens Wristwatch American Men's Wrist Watch Waltham Movement 1900 Black Stones

I proudly offer for sale this scarce and RARE example of a men’s made by WANDOLEC ART STUDIO based on the movement from American Waltham Watch Company from Waltham, Massachusetts, truly the “grandfather” of U.S. horology.

It is a CUSTOMIZED WATCH that features a hand made ENGRAVED GOLDEN brass DIAL & CASE with ROSES & BLACK STONES and ORIGINAL pocket watch mechanism with BLUE STEEL SCREWS, GOLD WHEELS, CIRCLE DAMASKEENING, GENEVA PATTERN, THREE RAISED & SCREWED in GOLD JEWEL SETTINGS, CHATON of REGULATION SCREWS in GOLD, BI-METALLIC MICROMETER REGULATOR & BLUE BREGUET BALANCE SPRING. 

This timepiece features a New handsome GOLD brass dial in excellent condition, absolutely no chips of abuse and Handmade engraved by the craftsman. This New dial features a BLACK CRYSTAL for hour markers, blue steel Breguet-style hands and a recessed sub-seconds “sweep” blue steel hand. The dial is decorated with QUALITY ENGRAVING with ROSE & BLACK ZIRCONS and look very beautiful. 

It is a registered design model that features a three piece GOLD PLATED case that provides with glass cover of back lid. This watch was converted from pocket watch. GOLD PLATED case, new custom made, fantastic, build specially for this excellent WALTHAM movement. The lugs are in great condition while the winding crown is in very good shape and operates properly. The case has MINERAL glasses on the front and back side. The case is decorated with HIGH QUALITY ENGRAVING with ROSES in the same style with the dial. 

Peeking inside via the glass lid I find the manual wind, high grade, nickel finished movement has BLUE STEEL SCREWS, GOLD WHEELS, CIRCLE DAMASKEENING, GENEVA PATTERN, THREE RAISED & SCREWED in GOLD JEWEL SETTINGS, CHATON of REGULATION SCREWS in GOLD, BI-METALLIC MICROMETER REGULATOR & BLUE BREGUET BALANCE SPRING.

The movement is signed WALTHAM – MASS. – A.W.W.Co – 15 JEWELS. Also is signed the movement serial number #9.554.044. This serial number dates this watch to 1900 as per published production numbers. The movement has 0S size and #115 Caliber. 

This beautiful watch has the original WALTHAM movement in an excellent status which was very well saved, considering age of this watch, but may contain replacement parts that are not from the original manufacturer if the original manufacturer no longer makes that part. Mechanism has been recently serviced to ensure it winds and sets smoothly while keeping great, accurate time. 

It is fitted on a new 22mm black genuine leather strap with gold steel buckle that is vintage style and goes great with this wonderful watch.

This rare watch winds and set smoothly while keeping very good, accurate time.
